EMPOWERING LIVES THROUGH CHRIST
Christian Empower

[1] Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; [2] and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God.
Ephesians 5:1-2 AMP
A Christian seems to have varying meanings and definitions in today’s world. Many incorrectly define what a Christian is. Some people define a Christian as a polite person. Some define a Christian as a person who does good works. Others view a Christian as a person who goes to church, reads the Bible, or memorizes scriptures. Those things are attributes that outline some of the many things a Christian should do, but they don’t define a Christian. Many people do those things but aren’t Christian. Satan does some of those things, and he is certainly not a Christian.
And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:11-12 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
John 3:16 ESV

Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24 ESV
